British National Curriculum
National Curriculum Home Page	This website is the official National Curriculum site featuring a subject by subject description of the British National Curriculum. Select a subject then choose a key stage to view the programmes of study.
DfES Standards Site	This site is home to the QCA/DfES (Qualifications and Curriculum Authority/Department for Education and Skills) schemes of work. To find a scheme, select a subject from the list. There are also links to the literacy and numeracy frameworks.
Language and Literacy
Crafts for Kids	This is a series of websites created by a 'full time mom'. You can find many activities, crafts, colouring pages, stories etc... for rainy days and any other day. It doesn't look much but it is full of fun and educational things to do with your kids.
Romantic Poetry	On this page you can find The Highwayman poem by Alfred Noyes studied in Year 5.
BBC Words and Pictures	Games to support spelling for years 1 and 2.
Maths
Counting Game	A simple counting game to develop number recognition skills. Great for Reception children. The main primary games site contains Maths games for older children too.
Primary Games	Find many fun ways of practising Key Stage 2 and upper Key Stage 1 maths skills (best for 6 to 11 year olds). This site also contains links to sister sites for more maths fun.
History
BBC Schools - Children of World War II	In the Spring Term, Year 4 study the life of children during World War II in Britain. This site is a fantastic way for them to find out about how children their age lived through the second world war in Britain. This site contains many links to other interesting topics across the curriculum. It is very child friendly and interractive.
